SNAP 2025 Terms and Conditions

The candidate should be ready with a soft copy of her/his recent passport size colour photo (not more than six months old) in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif formats, with a size between 10 KB to 5 MB to be uploaded to her/his registration form.

A candidate aspiring to join a Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme(s) offered by any Institute of SIU has to appear for the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be conducted at Test Centres.

The candidate needs to:

  1. Register for SNAP Test(s),
  2. Pay the registration fee for SNAP Test(s),
  3. Register for her/his choice of programme(s) offered by various Institutes of SIU,
  4. Pay the registration fee, separately for each programme.

If shortlisted for a programme applied to, the candidate would then need to participate in the further admission process (GE-PI) of that particular programme.

The registration process (including the payment of the registration fee) for SNAP and Institutes is integrated. A candidate can complete the SNAP as well as programme registration and payment on the same portal (www.snaptest.org).

All communications with candidate will be done through the official email address info@snaptest.org / no-reply@snaptest.org only. Please ensure that these email addresses are whitelisted in your registered email. If you do not receive the registration/payment confirmation mail, within 24 hours, please check your spam/junk folder just in case these emails got delivered there instead of your inbox.

SNAP Test 2025 will be conducted on three different dates. Please note these dates carefully:

Timings of the tests will be communicated to the candidates via their Admit Card

A candidate can appear for upto three tests for SNAP 2025. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation and there will be no normalization. A rigorous process that has been statistically tested will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. The normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests. This will ensure normalisation of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalised for the level of difficulty across all three tests. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.

The registration process is as follows:

  1. Click on 'Register'.
  2. Read all the Instructions carefully and then click on the 'Continue' button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
  3. Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
  4. Click on 'Save & Continue'. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number and email ID that you have entered.
  5. Enter the 'OTP' and submit.
  6. After successful registration, you will get an e-mail & SMS containing your SNAP ID and password. Use this SNAP ID for all communications regarding the SNAP 2025 entrance test / admission procedure.
  7. Pay the SNAP entrance test registration fee of INR 2250 per test [government taxes would be additional as and when applicable] non-transferable and non-refundable as per the instructions mentioned on the Registration Portal.
  8. In addition to that, you are also expected to pay the non-refundable and non-transferable programme registration fee of INR 1000/- [government taxes would be additional as and when applicable] (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) for each programme that you wish to apply for.
  9. Please note that payment of only the SNAP entrance test registration fee will not make you eligible for shortlisting in any programme, regardless of your SNAP score. Both fees must be paid as per the instructions provided on the registration portal. Failure to pay the programme registration fee will result in your application not being considered for that programme. No communication will be entertained in this regard.
  10. If you have any queries, please log in to your SNAP ID and click on "Raise A Query" to generate a ticket. Generating a ticket is essential to resolve your query.
  11. The modes of payment for the programme(s) registration fee is same as that for SNAP.
  12. Candidate must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the admission process.
  13. A candidate is required to fill in the correct information in the online registration form which corresponds to her/his credentials.
  14. Register online on the website www.snaptest.org upto November 20, 2025 (Thursday).
    Note: No changes shall be permitted after the registration under any circumstances.
  15. A candidate can appear for SNAP on all the dates December 06, 2025 (Saturday), December 14, 2025 (Sunday) and December 20, 2025 (Saturday). If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.
  16. Please also note that if any information provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect, the University shall have right to cancel the candidature of that candidate.

The earlier you pay, the higher are your chances to obtain a test date and test city of your choice.

Even after closing of the payment for SNAP 2025, a candidate may still pay through website till the last date of payment for the programme(s). An institute may offer more than one programme. A candidate should ensure that the preferred programme(s) is / are selected and paid before the last date. Indian nationals and NRI candidates shall have to apply under SNAP 2025 to seek admission to the select Postgraduate programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

After the declaration of the SNAP 2025 result, the institute (offering the programme(s) for which you have paid) will conduct further selection processes for short-listed candidates. The schedule for the same will be published on the website of the respective institute(s).

Following will be the reservation policy for admission to any programme (offered by any Institute) of SIU (except Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, which has a separate policy#)

[A] Within Sanctioned Intake:

  1. Scheduled Castes Candidates: (15% of seats within the sanctioned intake)

    The University has provided for reservation to the extent of 15 % for all its academic programmes to Scheduled Castes Candidates, as defined under Article 341 of the Constitution.
  2. Scheduled Tribes Candidates: (7.5% of seats within the sanctioned intake)

    The University has provided for reservation to the extent of 7.5 % for all its academic programmes to Scheduled Tribes Candidates, as defined under Article 342 of the Constitution.
  3. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) at SIU: (3% of seats within the sanctioned intake)

    In compliance to the Government directives on Disability Guidelines issued by the Office of the Chief Commissioner for persons with disabilities vide Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi notification no. 16-18/97 on 1st June 2001, The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 dated 27th December 2016 and University Grants Commission Notification No. F.6-1/2006 (CPP-II/SCT) dated 30/09/2009, the University has made provision of reserving 3% seats for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates in all its Constituents.

  5. Children/ Wards of Defence personnel / Defence Special Category: Children / Wards of Defence personnel means children/ wards of those Defence Personnel who are serving / retired Defence personnel from Army, Navy, Air Force. Retired Defence personnel are those who fall in the category of ex-servicemen as laid down in Ministry of Defence letter no. 36035/5/85- Est (SCT) dated 14 April 1987. It also includes children of Defence personnel, who died while in service or after retirement

    The University in terms of the provisions of Memorandum of Association (MoA) between Symbiosis and Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India dated 10th July, 2000 provides for reservations up to the extent of 90% for Master of Business Administration programme of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), comprising of 80 % for Children/ Wards of Defence personnel and 10 % for Special Defence Category.

* The definition for Defence Personnel is:

The term Defence Personnel would mean only those serving / retired Defence personnel from Army, Navy, Air Force. Retired defence personnel are those who fall in the category of ex-servicemen as laid down in Ministry of Defence letter no 36035/5/85-Estt (SCT) dated 14 April 1987. It includes defence personnel who died while in service or after retirement.

The University also provides 5 % reservation within the sanctioned intake for Children/ Wards of Defence Personnel in Institutes as listed below: -

  1. Master of Business Administration (International Business) programme conducted by Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune
  2. Master of Business Administration (Digital and Telecom Management) programme conducted by Symbiosis Institute of Digital & Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune
  3. Master of Business Administration (Information Technology Business Management) programme conducted by Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT), Pune
  4. Master of Business Administration (Information Technology) programme conducted by Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies & Research (SICSR), Pune

Note: Candidates applying for Children/wards of Defence Personnel other than above mentioned four programmes will be considered as candidates in the OPEN Category.

Note: A candidate who is interested to apply under the category “Children/ Wards of Defence Personnel” for any of the above-mentioned programmes, should select the category “Children/ Wards of Defence Personnel” for each programme separately.

A candidate applying under any of the reserved category (Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / Persons with Disabilities (PwD) / Kashmiri Migrants & Kashmiri Pandits / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non- Migrants) living in Kashmiri Valley) are mandatorily required to submit relevant document issued by competent authority. Any participation at any stage of admission process by such candidate is purely provisional and will always be subject to verification and authentication of such relevant document.

In case a candidate falls under more than one of the above categories (e.g. Scheduled Caste as well as Persons with Disabilities (PwD) or any other combination), s/he would need to select any one Category (i.e. either Scheduled Caste OR Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in the case of example mentioned above) at the time of filling up the SNAP registration form. The category selected by the candidate at the time of filling the registration form will be considered to be her/his category for the entire admission process and her/his benefits and entitlements shall be according to such selected category. S/he will not be able to claim benefit under the other category/ies at any stage of admission on any account whatsoever.

A candidate belonging to any reserved category should note the eligibility requirements carefully before applying. While it is the endeavour of SIU that a candidate belonging to SC/ST/PwD category joins a programme as per the SIU norms, s/he has to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. A certain minimum level of performance in SNAP test is required to be considered for the subsequent admission process.

Please also note that if any information provided by the candidate in respect of her/his category is found to be incorrect, the University shall have the right to cancel the candidature of the candidate at any stage of the admission process. Instances of any incorrect information or process violation detected at any stage of the Admission process will lead to immediate disqualification of the candidate from the Admission process and he/she will not be allowed to appear for SNAP in the future. If such instances go undetected during the current Admission process but are detected in subsequent years, such disqualification will take place with retrospective effect.

# For Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS): As per MoU with Ministry of Defence clause no. 13 sub clause (d) The term Defence Personnel would mean only those serving / retired Defence Personnel from the Army, Navy and Air Force who fall in the category of ex-serviceman as laid down vide Ministry of Defence Letter no. 36034/5/85 -Estt (SCT) dated 14th April, 1987.

Reservation of Seats within the intake is:

Defence Open: 80% seats for Defence personnel and their dependents (Children / Ward / Spouse) of Defence personnel (as per merit).
Defence Special:10% seats for Defence personnel and their dependents (Children / Ward / Spouse) in consultation with Headquarters, Southern Command should cater for

  • Killed in action (war, counter insurgency or war like operation)
  • Disabled in action (war, counter insurgency or war like operation) with more that 50% disability
  • Next of kin of service personnel who have died while in service, death being attributable to military service (as per merit)
Open / Industry Category: 10% seats are in open category to civilian candidates under open or sponsored / recommended by the Industry (as per merit).

Reservation of Seats over and above intake:

Officers of Armed Forces on Study Leave as authorized by respective Services HQs are granted automatic admission subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

*Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidate means a candidate having any of the disabilities in accordance with the Persons with Disabilities Act - 1995 and as per revised Gazette of India Registered no: DL - (N)04/0007/2003-16 dated December 28, 2016.

Process to be followed for Persons with Disabilities (PwD):

  • The candidate applying for the entrance tests/admission in the Persons with Disabilities (PwD), selects the type of disability available in the PwD options on the portal.

  • A Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidate is required to upload his/her copy of Disability Certificate issued by Competent Government Medical Authority the and Unique Disability ID (UD ID) Card at the time of registration for test/admission of SIU to ascertain percentage and the type of the disability.

  • The Medical Superintendent, SUHRC through Medical Board shall ascertain the genuineness of the said documents. Once the documents are found authentic and correct by the Medical Board, SUHRC, his/her eligibility will be certified under the PwD category.

Note - If a candidate selects Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in the Registration form and s/he requires scribe/writer facility please note SIU will not be providing scribe/writer. The candidate has to make her/his own arrangement for scribe/writer.

The scribe/writer should not have completed studies beyond the Class XII.

Request for approval for scribe/writer should be sent to info@snaptest.org on or before November 20,2025 (Thursday). The approval email and supporting documents should be carried at the time of appearing for the SNAP Test.

As per SIU norms, a Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is provided with 20 minutes of compensatory time for every 60 minutes of test.

  1. Domiciled: (25% of seats within the sanctioned intake- Only in case of Constituents at Off-Campus center, Nagpur)

    In accordance with Clause A of Schedule C of the Lease Deed signed between Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur and Symbiosis, Pune on 4th September, 2017, the University has reserved 25% seats against the approved intake in each programme offered at the Off-campus Centre of the University at Nagpur for Nagpur Domiciled candidates.

  2. The definition for Nagpur Domicile is:

    'Nagpur Domiciled' means candidates, who are domiciled in Nagpur for a period of 5(five) years as on the date of commencement of the academic year and who (a) are or will be graduates or students of Nagpur University, and/ or (b)are recipients of school certificates from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations, and/ or the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)/ ICSE Board.

While giving admission under the Nagpur domicile category

  • Residence Criterion: Resident of Nagpur Urban (five continuous or intermittent years) is mandatory,
  • Educational Criterion: The candidate should fulfil one of the following criteria
  • (a) graduate or pursuing graduation from Nagpur University

    - OR-

    (b) school certificates (10 th and 12 th) from (i) Maharashtra Board, (ii) CISCE (iii) CBSE, (iv) ICSE (It simply means 10th and 12th passed certificates from other State Boards and foreign school boards are NOT accepted)

A candidate may pay through

  3. Demand Draft.
Pay the SNAP Test registration fee of INR 2250 per test (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) upto November 20, 2025 (Thursday) as per the instructions mentioned on the website ( www.snaptest.org) for Payment of SNAP Test registration fee.

In addition to that, you are also expected to pay the non-refundable and non-transferable programme registration fee of INR 1000/- (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) for each programme that you wish to apply for.

Note- SNAP Test registration fee and programme registration fee of the Institute is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Payment Through Demand Draft:

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 2250 per test (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in 'Make Payment' Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at,

The DD should reach Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) by 3:00 pm on November 20, 2025 (Thursday). If the DD reaches after this, it will not be considered and will be returned to the candidate. STS will not be responsible for non-delivery or any delay on the part of courier / postal services.

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) will authenticate the details of the Demand Draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the realisation of payment, would you be able to view your Admit Card.

Eligibility Requirement at SIU (as per SIU norms)-
  • Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent grade
  • A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any program of SIU.
  • The Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues equivalence certificate for foreign degrees/qualifications.

Eligibility Requirement at Aston University (in addition to the above) -
  • 60% overall in Bachelor's Degree | 6 out of 10 GPA |4.2 out of 7 GPA + a content minimum of 50% from Any one of the following areas: Economics(micro/macro), Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Mathematics, Finance
  • A minimum of 75% (CBSE/ISC) or 80% (State Board/NIOS) in Standard 12th English for the reasons of compliance OR 6.5 (3 bands at 6.0, and 1 band at 5.5) in IELTS.
  • Prior work experience preferred, however, not mandatory. Work experience/Internship document to be provided, if applicable.

Dual degree with Macquarie University, Australia

Eligibility Requirement at SIU (as per SIU norms)-

  • Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent grade
  • A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any program of SIU.
  • The Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues equivalence certificate for foreign degrees/qualifications.
  • Additionally, for dual degree programme student needs to secure at least 6.5 CGPA in the first and second semester at SSBF.

Eligibility Requirement at Macquarie University (in addition to the above)
  • Completion of 1 year (semesters 1 and 2) of the relevant SSBF MBA programme with a minimum of WAM 65.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree with a minimum average score of 50% or equivalent. Students must submit SIU-certified mark sheets – Class 12 and Bachelor’s Degree Certificate
  • Minimum Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with a minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent (Score needed before Jan 14, 2026, and validity till Dec 2027)
  • Prior work experience preferred, however, not mandatory. Work experience/Internship document to be provided, if applicable.
  • Applicants should be below the age of 30 at the time of application.
  • Applicants need to demonstrate they have access to funds to cover their tuition fees and living expenses in Australia for the duration of their program.

  1. The SNAP Test Admit Card must be downloaded and printed from the official SNAP website [snaptest.org]. Admit Cards will be available from November 28, 2025 (Friday) for SNAP Test 01, December 08, 2025 (Monday) for SNAP Test 02, and December 15, 2025 (Monday) for SNAP Test 03. Black and white printouts will not be accepted.
  2. Please ensure that your latest passport size, colour photograph is pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for before appearing for the test (Your photograph should not be more than six months old).
  3. Admit Card along with Original Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test. An acceptable photo identity is any one of the following:
    • Passport.
    • Driving license.
    • Voter ID Card.
    • PAN Card
    • AADHAR Card (UID)
    Note: Soft copy of identity proof will not be accepted.
  4. An authorized person will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the Original photo ID on the day of the test. Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further admission processes (GE-PI).
  5. The candidate should note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the s/he will not be permitted to appear for further Admission processes of SIU. If the Authenticated Admit card is lost, a duplicate Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over.
  6. Cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in calculators/memory, or any electronic gadgets-including smart devices such as smartwatches, fitness bands, Meta Glass, or similar wearable technology-will not be allowed in the test hall.
  7. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the test hall till the test is completed. After submission of the test, candidate will not be allowed to re-enter the test hall.
  8. Candidates are advised to locate allocated test Centre at least a day in advance to avoid any issue on the day of the test. Candidates who reach the test centre late due to any reason, will not be allowed to enter the same under any circumstances after the gates are closed.
  9. Travel and staying (if applicable) arrangements will need to be done by the candidate.
  10. The scores published by the SIU shall be final and shall not be subject to any appeal or revaluation.
  11. Persons with Disabilities (PwD)/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes / Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmiri Valley category candidates are requested to upload their relevant document (s) while registering for the SNAP.
  12. Any attempt to impersonate or indulge in any malpractice, identified at any stage of the admission process would disqualify the candidate from the admission processes to all postgraduate programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and may also lead to appropriate legal action as deemed fit.
  13. If it is discovered that you have consumed any prohibited substances, entry to the test center will be denied.
  14. Engaging in any form of malpractice or unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification from the SIU admission process. Providing false information or breaching the prescribed procedures at any stage will result in cancellation of the candidature and disqualification from all future SIU entrance tests. If such misconduct is identified after admission or during the course of study, the disqualification will be enforced retrospectively. Furthermore, tampering with the registration form, admit card, or scorecard, or submitting incorrect information, will be considered a serious offense. In such cases, SIU reserves the right to cancel the candidature and take legal action in accordance with applicable laws.

  1. The right to conduct the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test 2025 rests with SIU. SIU reserves the right to re-schedule the test and/or change the test centre at its sole discretion, without assigning any reason thereof, and as warranted by the circumstances.
  2. SIU reserves the exclusive right to reject any application without assigning any reason thereof. A Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable fee of INR 2250 per test [government taxes would be additional as and when applicable] is payable by every candidate on registering for SNAP
  3. Register online on the website www.snaptest.org (upto November 20, 2025 (Thursday).
    Note: No changes shall be permitted after the registration under any circumstances.
  4. For disputes between the candidate and the Symbiosis Test Secretariat, the candidate should first send an email to registrar@siu.edu.in with details about his/her grievance. If the candidate is not satisfied with the decision of the Registrar, he/she can appeal to the Ombudsman of the University. Information regarding the same is available in https://siu.edu.in/student-affairs.php.. All disputes between the candidate and Symbiosis Test Secretariat in this regard are subject to the legal jurisdiction of Pune.
  5. All the information pertaining to SNAP will be posted on the web site and no separate communication by email or other means will be sent to the candidate. If such other means are used it does not constitute an obligation to continue to use such means.
  6. SNAP 2025 Score will be valid only for admission to select postgraduate (PG) programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] for the academic year of 2026-27. Admission to the select PG programmes at SIU are strictly based on merit, assessment of individual performance in SNAP Test and other processes prescribed by SIU.
  7. The information that a candidate provides in the application form will be used by SIU. You may receive information through e-mail or other form, on matters related to SIU/Constituent Institute(s) of SIU and you agree not to object to such mailers. The SNAP admit card will be available on the web site (www.snaptest.org) for the candidates to view and take a printout. This admit card will not be sent out by any other means.
  8. It is mandatory to attend all components / tests of GE-PI to be eligible for admission to any PG programme. Only the candidate who attends all components / tests of selection process (GE-PI) shall be considered as eligible for generation of merit / wait / reject list. The candidate who remains absent for any one of the component / tests will be considered as ineligible for selection process of any of the M.B.A. degree programmes of SIU.
  9. If a candidate selects Persons with Disabilities(PwD) Category in SNAP 2025 Registration form and s/he requires a scribe/writer facility, please note that SIU will not be providing a scribe/writer. The candidate has to make her/his own arrangement for a scribe/writer. The qualification of the scribe/writer should be maximum Class XII passed. During the test, as per SIU Examination norms, a Persons with Disabilities Candidate is provided with 20 minutes of compensatory time for every 60 minutes of test.
  10. I also agree to abide by the rules and regulations governing the examination as well as the rules contained in the information and instructions bulletin, which I have read and understood.
  11. I understand that the information that I have provided in the application form will be used by SIU. I may receive information by email or other form on matters unrelated to SNAP and I agree not to object to such mailers.

Foreign National (FN):

A candidate is eligible to apply as a Foreign National (FN) if she/he is a citizen of any country other than India and holds a foreign passport.

Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI):

A candidate is eligible to apply as OCI if she/he is granted with Overseas Citizenship of India and has an OCI card.

Person of Indian Origin (PIO):

A candidate is eligible to apply as a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) if she/he has a PIO card, and is a citizen of a country other than India.

[As per the Government of India Notification dated 9th January 2015, the existing Persons of Indian Origin card holder registered as such shall be deemed to be Overseas Citizens of India card holders (OCI).]

Non-Resident Indian (NRI):

A candidate is eligible to apply as a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) if she/he is an Indian National and has appeared for the 12th examination (equivalent to the Indian 12th) or graduation outside India. It is mandatory for one of the two qualifying examinations to be taken outside India.

If the candidate is applying under International category as NRI entrance exam is not mandatory, candidate will have to register and apply through Symbiosis Centre for International Education. Please visit www.scie.ac.in.

It is a matter of Policy that SIU does not charge capitation fee for admission from students and this is widely and prominently published as well on all the relevant places like prospectus, website, SNAP portal, etc.
  5. Despite this Notice, if any aspirant / parents still proceed with or enters into transaction with such elements, they would be doing so at their own risk and cost. SIU further notifies that any aspirant attempting to approach SIU for admission through or at the instances of such agents will be permanently debarred from admission to all the courses and programmes at Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
  6. In the case of computer-based test (CBT) held at test centres:
    1. While all efforts will be made to ensure that the candidate gets a test city as per his / her preferences, however, in some exceptional circumstances, a different city in nearby area may be allotted.
    2. On the day of the test, your digital finger print and or photograph scan will be captured Candidates whose finger prints cannot be digitally scanned due to any reasons will not be permitted to take the SNAP test. It is strongly recommended that you avoid applying Mehndi / colour on your hands (palm side) for at least 5 days prior to the test.
  7. Online as well as computer-based testing is a proven and reliable process that is administered widely to candidates each year. As with paper and pencil testing, or virtually every other human endeavour, some problems could occur that might prevent a test from being delivered and/or a result from being generated. In such an unlikely event, every effort will be made to correct the problem, up to and including the administration of another test.
  8. The scores published by the SIU shall be final and shall not be subject to any appeal or revaluation.
